Supporting Canada’s Travel Industry
ACTA is Canada’s national association representing travel agencies and travel advisors, supporting its members through advocacy, professional development, valuable resources, and industry connections.
Travel Agency Membership
ACTA’s core membership is for Canadian travel agencies. The agency owner covers the head office and branches with valid TICO (Ontario), OPC (Quebec), or Consumer Protection BC registration. Fees are based on the number of employees and travel advisors per location. Eligible staff receive a digital ACTA membership card (PDF, Apple Wallet, or Google Wallet).
Independent Travel Advisor Membership
The Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) and Certified Travel Manager (CTM) designations are nationally recognized throughout Canada as the mark of excellence in the travel industry. These certifications demonstrate an individual’s competence and provide a marketable credential. Travel advisors with the CTC designation are among the most highly qualified professionals in their field.
Travel Supplier Membership
Travel Supplier membership is a category for companies or organizations in the travel industry that are not travel agencies but wish to join ACTA to support its efforts and connect with this vital distribution channel. By becoming an ACTA Travel Supplier member, you support and connect with Canada’s travel advisor community.
